Gay Financial Advisers Warn Over Income Protection

Compass, the gay financial advisers are warning people within the gay community about HIV exclusions contained in income protection plans they may hold. The plans in question would have been taken out by gay men and women prior to 2009 and specifically exclude those contracting the HIV virus after inception of the policy.

Compass the gay insurance advisers are warning that gay individuals are insured for more than gay couples. This astonishing fact came to light during their recent research into the insurance buying habits of gay men. Gay individuals on average take a life assurance policy of £200,000, whilst Gay men in a relationship £180,000.

Compass, the gay financial advisers are warning gay couples that their current Life Assurance many not be enough to protect their loved ones. Their recent research into the average sum assured of Life Assurance and Critical Illness policies taken out by gay couples equates to just under £180,000.
